Douglas County Hospital is one of Nation’s Top 100
Douglas County Hospital has received notification they have been selected as one of the nation’s top 100 Hospitals.  This is a significant honor to be selected again from more than 3,000 hospital’s across the country.  This award recognizes hospitals with the highest hospital-wide performance compared to national peers, based on an overall score across five critical areas.
 
Credit needs to go to all of our 600 employees, board of directors, and physicians who made this Top 100 Hospital designation possible.

 

Douglas County Hospital is currently accredited by Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP).  HFAP was founded by the American Osteopathic Association and is nationally recognized by the federal government, state governments, insurance carriers and managed care organization.  HFAP conducts accreditation surveys of acute care hospitals, ambulatory care and surgery centers, mental health, and physical rehabilitation facilities.

Douglas County Hospital is a member of the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA).  MHA's vision is to be a leader in health-care policy, advocacy, and an educational resource for members.  Douglas County Hospital is an active participant in the various events and initiatives provided by MHA which are designed to promote the delivery of quality and safe patient care.
