From our patients:
"Best hospital ever! Last July I was a patient here for about a week due to issues in my pregnancy. A week after I was released, I came back to have my baby. Both times I stayed here, all the nurses I had were fantastic - everyone always seemed to be in a good mood and cheerful. My husband and I were very impressed and highly recommend this hospital. Our daughter was born 5 weeks early and they took such good care of her. All around a very nice and clean place, and the Birth Place is the best. We had the best experience!"

I've had both my children at The Birth Place. In 2012 and 2014. Both times were great experiences. I had a natural/unmedicated birth with both, the nurses and my midwife were all great supporters, all very encouraging. I happily tell everyone of how nice the nurses were. Helped me discover my passion in life and I plan on going to school to pursue midwifery in the near future. Thank you!!
"Me and my fiancé had our baby boy there in September, first and foremost we love the fact you allow midwives to deliver that's why we made the hour and half drive, Chillon made my first delivery a pleasant experience, we ended up having to stay 9 days though, The nurses and doctors were all so wonderful and caring and took great care of my little boy and made sure we were taking care of ourselves as well..I recommend Douglas County Hospital birth place to moms to be all the time!"
Wonderful nursing staff! I was Hospitalized 5/14/15 to 5/15/15 with spinal fusion surgery. During my stay, on second floor, I had an opportunity to be cared for by three wonderful nurses. Sam, Crystal & Kim. These ladies were so amazing! They made sure not only myself, but my wife was very comfortable and every need was taken care of. Even brought her a warm blanket when she said she wasn't even cold (which she was, just wouldn't admit to it). Thank you so much to you ladies!
