HOSPITAL OPERATING STATISTICS - 2009

Inpatient census for 2009 was down 4.9%.  Average inpatient daily census was 42.8 in 2009 compared to 45.1 in 2008.  Adjusted admissions which is a blend of both inpatient and outpatient admissions increased slightly at 8,868 compared to 8,815.  Average of inpatient stay for 2009 remained stable at 3.6 days.  Other key operating statistics were as follows:
