New for 2008 - Reserve Your Table!

Every ticket ensures a seat, by why not reserve an entire table – or two?

This is a great way to celebrate with your family, friends, employees, clients, or customers, while supporting your community!  Why not make this your office holiday party…or invite key clients to show your appreciation…or spend a fun evening with your friends and family!

Simply purchase an entire table at once (10 tickets) and we will display the name of your choice in the center of the table.  Businesses and Not for profits can provide logos as well, and will be formally recognized over the course of the evening.

So purchase your table now and tell your guests to save the date!

2008 Holiday Gala Proceeds

Douglas County Hospital Holiday Gala 2008 proceeds will be split 70/30; 70% to the hospital to be designated to Douglas County Rehabilitation at YMCA, and 30% to the community to be designated to Someplace Safe.

Douglas County Rehabilitation at YMCA
Douglas County Hospital Rehab has been working with the YMCA to establish a clinic site at the new facility in Alexandria. Physical and occupational therapy will be provided at the YMCA, along with establishing a state of the art aquatic-based therapy program for our clients.

Aquatic rehab can greatly benefit both young and old in an environment for joint-friendly rehab. The proceeds will be used for start-up costs for the Rehab Department including aquatic equipment. Rehab will work to establish wellness programs for the community at the YMCA, along with standard rehab practice. Rehab will have the use of YMCA equipment including aerobic, weight training, and the pool facility. Our mission is to provide our clients with the very best equipment and facility access and the YMCA is a great opportunity for that goal.

It is the mission of Someplace Safe to create a safer world for everyone, and work towards eliminating violence and oppression through advocacy, education and services.
