The Douglas County Hospital Emergency Department is dedicated to providing emergency and trauma care to Alexandria and the surrounding communities. The Emergency department provides care to approximately 14,000 patients per year. The Emergency Department is located on the main level with accessibility through an enclosed ambulance garage.
