Douglas County Hospital Laboratory (DCHL) is under the medical direction of board-certified pathologists and is accredited by the AOA and is CLIA certified as a highly complex laboratory providing Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunology, Transfusion Medicine, Cytology and Histology services.
In addition to the hospital's customers, DCHL serves as a reference laboratory and provides technical consultation for hospitals and clinics in the surrounding communities. The lab is staffed 24 hours daily with experienced, professionally certified technicians and technologists.
We also have an outpatient draw area, for outpatient blood draws and oncology draws, located on the main level of the hospital next to Medical Oncology.
