Douglas County Hospital Laboratory (DCHL) is under the medical direction of board-certified pathologists and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. DCHL is CLIA certified as a highly complex laboratory providing Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunology, Transfusion Medicine, Cytology and Histology services. In addition to the hospital's customers, DCHL serves as a reference laboratory and provides technical consultation for hospitals and clinics in the surrounding communities. the Laboratory is staffed 24 hours daily with experienced, professionally certified Technicians and Technologists.
