The Medical Oncology Unit is a 6,500 square foot unit that includes a clinic with examination rooms, waiting and reception area, physician and staff offices, and an eight-bed chemotherapy treatment area.
Marian Raflores, MD, medical oncologist, is responsible to direct and prescribe appropriate care and treatment regimes which best meet the needs of the individual who has been diagnosed with cancer. Doctor Raflores, together with the experienced staff from the medical oncology unit, work to monitor your plan of care and condition throughout your course of treatments. The medical oncology unit receives referrals from area oncologists and physicians for individuals to obtain their treatments at Douglas County Hospital's Medical Oncology Unit.
