The
Mental Health Unit of Douglas County Hospital is an outpatient
unit located off the main hospital campus at the Marian Building
(700 Cedar Street) near downtown Alexandria. The
Mental Health Unit offers both psychiatric and psychological services
in a variety of assessment and treatment modalities. Ages
served include young children through adulthood.
The
clinical staff of the Mental Health Unit is composed of:
Psychiatrists, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psychiatric RN's and
LPN's, Doctoral and Master's Level Psychologists, a Clinical Social
Worker, and a Neuropsychologist.
The
Mental Health Unit is committed to providing quality services
in an ethical, professional, confidential, and caring manner.
