CentraCare Radiation Oncology at Douglas County Hospital opened in October, 1998. This is a collaborative relationship between CentraCare Health System and the Douglas County Hospital. The highly trained staff is dedicated to the treatment of cancer patients and this facility incorporates the latest technology in the radiation oncology field. We have both a linear accelerator and a simulator which are used for the treatment of cancer. The accelerator allows for the precise treatment of virtually any tumor while the simulator is used to define tumor volume prior to treatment and setup treatment fields.
Our daily treatment times are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. We have coverage 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. If the department is closed, you may leave a message on the answer machine or if you need to talk to a doctor, please call (320) 654-2933 and the answering service will answer your call and locate the Radiation Oncology physician on call for you if necessary. |
